About Us
Team Eclipse is a community-oriented FIRST robotics team that was started in 2017 by 15 students who attended LASA High School in Austin, TX with help from seasoned entrepreneurs who saw many stark similarities between a competitive FIRST season and their own experience of starting a company. They saw an opportunity to teach junior high kids firsthand the process of building a marketable product, i.e. the Robot. FTC is a life-changing experience where kids learn to work as a team through hardships and failures and graduate with a keen sense of purpose in life and a drive to solve challenging and intriguing problems.
